What does getting veneers involve?

Dr. Levin makes getting veneers a simple and quick process that usually requires two visits. There is little or no anesthesia required during the procedure. The first step is to prepare the teeth by lightly buffing and shaping the surface to allow for the thickness of the veneer. A mold or impression of the tooth will be made. Then it is necessary for Dr. Levin and you, as a team, to pick the color (shade) of the veneer.

On the second visit, the teeth will be cleansed with special liquids to achieve a durable bond. A bonding cement is placed between the tooth and veneer using a special light beam to harden and set the bond.
